Carol J. Olszewski

Carol J. Olszewski of Waukesha passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Milwaukee on December 17, 1948, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Janette (nee Urbanski) Turzynski. Carol married Alvin “Al” Olszewski on September 27, 1969, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Greenfield.

Carol had a passion for shopping with her daughters and enjoyed attending water classes at the Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC). A dog lover, she frequented the Minooka Dog Park with her husband, where they formed many friendships and enjoyed weekly breakfasts together. Her greatest joy came from her daughters and grandchildren, never missing attending their events.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of nearly 57 years, Al; loving daughters, Nadine Lindenstruth of New Berlin and Michelle (Timothy) Blodgett of Lakeville, MN; and cherished grandchildren, Addison Lindenstruth, and Maxim and Ana Blodgett. She is also survived by her brothers, Terry (Detra) Turzynski, and Robert Turzynski, along with nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, Waukesha, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. A reception will follow at the church. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol’s memory to the American Cancer Society or HAWS.
