Brigid M. O'Donnell

Brigid M. O’Donnell of Elm Grove passed away July 31, 2025 at age 78.

Brigid was a former Sister of St. Francis of Assisi and spent her entire life working for the Catholic Church. She served extended time at the diocese of Madison and then at St. Paul, MN. She also served at the parishes of St. Matthias, Milwaukee and St. Mary's, Hales Corners. In addition, she taught at Cardinal Stritch College and Sacred Heart Seminary. Brigid will be remembered for her spirit, passion, and dedication to whatever she did. She was loved by many.

She is survived by her brothers, Tim (Bev) O'Donnell and Mike (Jo-Ellen) O'Donnell; nephew Jeff O'Donnell; niece Catie (Stephen) Heckel, grandnephew Caleb; special longtime friend Fr. Larry Bakke; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Lenore O'Donnell and brother Patrick O'Donnell.

Visitation will be Mon. Aug. 11th at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188 from 9:00AM until 10:45AM. Funeral Mass 11:00AM. Reception to follow. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of donor's choice.
