Barbara E. Jones

Barbara Eileen Jones (nee Campbell) passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born in Wausau, Wisconsin April 17, 1940, to loving parents Donald and Norma (nee Madson) Campbell. She met her husband of almost 67 years Larry Jones and married October 20, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a long-time member. Barbara and Larry started their family, and Barbara took on the job of homemaker helping raise their four children. Family time was her favorite, and she carried her role as homemaker extremely well. In her younger years she enjoyed baking and cooking as well as throwing “cute little parties.” Barbara was a great mother, a loving grandmother, and wonderful wife. She will be missed dearly.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, her husband Larry; children, Deborah (Arlen) Meidenbauer, Steven (Cathy) Jones, Marlin Jones and LuAnn (Peter) Zimmer; grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Schram, Matthew and Christopher Meidenbauer, Georgeann Jones, Evelyn and Nicholas Zimmer; sisters, Gloria Dowty and Susan Lick; and brothers, Don, Ron, Randy and Dennis Campbell. She was preceded in death by her brothers David and Douglas Campbell, and her parents Donald and Norma (nee Madson) Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery S22 W22890, E. Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186. Memorials in Barbara’s name are appreciated to St. Joseph Catholic Church 818 N. East Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186.
