Virginia R. Radaj, of Pewaukee, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. She was born on September 21, 1926 in Milwaukee to Leo and Sophia (nee Solper) Duffrin. On December 27, 1946 she married George A. Radaj who preceded her in death in 1972. She was a proud member of the “Bag Ladies” at the Salvation Army in Waukesha. She will be sadly missed by her sons Gregory (Geri) Radaj of Waukesha, Patrick (Margaret) Radaj of Sterling Height, MI and Jeffrey (Mary Jo Arns-Radaj) Radaj of Burnsville, MN. Dear grandmother of Anthony Radaj of Fraser, MI, Michelle (Paolo) Adranga of Macomb, MI, Joel (Elise) Radaj of Des Moines, IA, Lindsey Radaj of Waukesha, Jordan Radaj of Ames, IA, Kelsey Radaj of Waukesha and Ryan Radaj of Waukesha. Proud great-grandmother of Lina Adranga of Macomb, MI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Sietzer, Margaret Lisiecki and Carol Reuville, her brother Leo Jr.and her beloved dog Scooter. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. until the 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue, Big Bend, WI 53103. Private burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Virginia’s name are appreciated to HAWS, 701 Northview Rd.
