Sofia Dora Oyerbides

Sofia Dora Oyerbides of Waukesha passed away with her family by her side at AngelsGrace Hospice on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 76. She was born to the late Eugenio Sr. and Martha C. Rodriguez in Runge, Texas on September 19, 1942. She married Rodolfo “Rudy” Oyerbides Sr. in San Antonio, Texas on April 6, 1964. Sofia worked for many years as a CNA. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and the Brewers and Packers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Rodolfo (Sue) Oyerbides Jr. of Milwaukee, Judy (Eugene) Nachreiner of Waukesha, Jo Ann Oyerbides-Mrioued of Waukesha and Margaret (Charles) Oyerbides of New Berlin, her grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Vogel of Waukesha, Lara Oyerbides of Waukesha, Jessica (Tony) Senethavisouk, Christopher Oyerbides of Waukesha, Rodolfo Oyerbides III of Milwaukee, Mario Ayala of New Berlin, Garret Ayala of New Berlin, Aziz Mrioued of Waukesha and Simon Nachreiner of Waukesha; as well as by her great-grandchildren, Caiden, Dominic, Brooklyn, Elias and Nathan and step-great-grandchildren, Charles and Thomas. She is further survived by her brothers, Eugenio Rodriquez Jr. of McKinney, TX, Juan (Rita) Rodriguez of Schultz, TX, Rudy Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, Augie (Susan) Rodriguez of Runge, TX, sisters Maria (Ricardo) Torres of Dousman, Sylvia R. Oliverez of Runge, TX, Norma (Santos) Valdez, Rosie (Ricky) Huerta of Mathis, TX and Martha (Rob) Lange of Waukesha, her sister-in-law Julia Rodriguez of El Paso, TX, her best friend, Sandy and the late Frank Bondch of San Antonio, TX along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sofia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rodolfo Oyerbides Sr., her sisters Leonora Rodriguez and Juanita Garza and her brother Reynaldo C. Rodriguez.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Waukesha Memorial Hospital and AngelsGrace Hospice for their kindness and care extended to Sofia and their family.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services continue Tuesday, September 17th at the funeral home with prayers at 9:15 a.m. followed by the procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186 for the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
