Shirley Ann Jones

Shirley Ann Jones of Mukwonago died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. She was born in Chillicothe, OH on March 26, 1933 the daughter of John and Mary Witamyer. On June 5, 1976 she married Jerome Jones; he preceded her in death 2000. Shirley was a dedicated employee of Waukesha Memorial Hospital for 47 years. She enjoyed Middle Eastern dancing, fast cars and loved riding on motorcycles. She had a great fondness for animals and was a volunteer at HAWS. Shirley will be remembered for her unique sense of style and for always being in high heels.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Robert Guy (Kathryn) Schroeder of Eloy, AZ and Terry (Linda) Schroeder of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Nicole Peschel, Kim (Randy) Moore, Jake Schroeder, Nick O’Brien, Jared (Renee) Schroeder and Rachel Marks and many great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Witamyer, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Dana Leigh Schroeder and brother Jack Witamyer.

Entombment will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005. Please meet at the cemetery in the red parking area. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the family.
