Sherrill M. Garczynski

March 3, 1943 — June 18, 2022

Sherrill M. Garczynski of Brookfield was born to Eternal Life on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at age 79. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan on March 3, 1943 the daughter of Rudolph and Evelyn (nee Thompson) Peterson. Sherrill married Jerry in September of 1963 and they started their life together in the Milwaukee area. They spent many date nights rooting on the MU basketball team together. Sherrill’s primary job those early years was to stay home to raise the kids. While in the later years, she enjoyed greeting many guests at Sam’s Club. She loved her trips “back home” to the UP most often in the summer when she could enjoy her family and relish in the lake and it’s glorious surroundings. Although as years passed, her most cherished moments were the times she had with her grandkids. She adored each one and every minute she could spend with them. She will most certainly be missed by all of us.

Beloved wife of the late Jerry. Loving mother of Tim (Anna) Garczynski, Kelly (Rory) Regan, Robin Anick (Daniel Alvarez) and Sean (Megan) Garczynski. Dear “Grandma G” of Tara, Tyler, Adrianna (Steve), Tasha, Riley, Tanner, Annabella, Shaeley and Isabella and great-grandmother of Julius, Scarlet and Rollin. Cherished sister of Dale (Jane), Lowell (Trudy), Melody (Joel) Petersen, and the late Colleen (Eddie) Schultz. Also loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
