Santiago "Jimmy" C. Ramirez Sr.

Santiago “Jimmy” C. Ramirez Sr. of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the age of 78. He was born in Lockhart, TX on May 1, 1940 the son of Antonio and Sista (nee Coronado) Ramirez Sr. Santiago was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing and loved Spanish music. Above all else, he was devoted to his family and was a loving husband, adoring father, and cherished grandfather. He found great joy in returning home to Texas to visit his family and especially enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts. Santiago fought many health battles, but throughout it all he was a fighter and lived life to the fullest.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Epifanio Ramirez, Sr., Santiago Ramirez Jr., Ruben (Tera) Ramirez, Bernabe Ramirez, Sr., Raymundo Ramirez, Andrea Ramirez, Jessica Moreno, Elizabeth (Juan) Colon, Christopher (Erica) Ramirez, Ann Marie Ramirez, Phillip Ramirez, Victoria (Jeremey) Hawkins, Billy Ramirez, Linda Ramirez, Diana Ramirez and Corrina (Gregorio)Felipe and step-children John, Robert, Terri and Shawn. He is further survived by his brothers, Julio (Maria) Ramirez, Antonio (Angie) Ramirez, Jr., sister, Gregoria (Jose) Cadena, sisters-in-law Gregoria Ramirez and Lucia Ramirez, brother-in-law Lloyd, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ojeda Ramirez, daughter Vicenta Ramirez, three brothers, three sisters and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4:00PM until time of the 7:00PM Rosary Service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation continues Friday, February 22nd at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188 from 9:30AM until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Father Jorge Perez will preside. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
