Rosalie "Rose" C. Berg

March 10, 1934 — November 19, 2018

Rosalie “Rose” Berg (nee Chiello) of Waukesha found peace on Monday, November 19, 2018 at her home at the age of 84. She was born in Waukesha on March 10, 1934 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (nee Sibrigandio) Chiello. She was a 1952 graduate of Waukesha High School. Following her graduation, Rose began her first job as a legal secretary for Love Law Offices and continued on that path in Alaska after marriage. She was an amazing speller, typesetter and editor working for Shinners Publications for 17 years and retiring from Rural Builder Magazine. She found great joy in teaching English as a second language to children at St. Joseph’s. Rose loved teaching crochet at the Waukesha YWCA and she was an award-winning archer and scrabble aficionado. Above everything, Rose cherished her family and was a devoted spouse and later caregiver to her husband of 46 years, Gordon E. Berg.

She will be sadly missed and was the loving mother to her son, Mark (Diane Molsbee) Berg and daughter, Nancy (Todd) Potter both of Waukesha. She was the proud and beloved grandmother to Joel, Molly, and Matthew Berg and Jessa and Colton Potter. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, her daughter Marie “Mimi” Litschauer, her brother Peter Chiello and her parents.

Honoring her wishes, a private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
