Richard Zimmerman

Richard Zimmerman, of Waukesha, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 82. He was born on January 18, 1936, in Waukesha, the son of Emery and Viola (nee Goerke) Zimmerman. He was a 1955 graduate of Waukesha High School. He proudly served his country, for 30 years, with the Air National Guard 440th Air Refueling Wing. Richard worked for 33 years for the City of Waukesha in the Public Works Dept., retiring in 1997.
Richard is survived by his son Michael (Toni) Zimmerman of Honolulu, HI, his brother Ronald (Barbara) Zimmerman of Waukesha, nieces, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to his friend Paul Feller for all his support.
Entombment with military honors will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. Please meet at the cemetery office at 10:45 a.m.
