Olivia L. Halsall, of Waukesha, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 97. She was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua, on April 29, 1924, the daughter of Walter G. and Iona I. (nee Hodgson) Tom. On April 4, 1951 she married Fritz Halsall in Nicaragua.
She will be missed by her daughter Pauline (Rafael) Blandon of Waukesha; foster son Giovanni (Christy) Baldizon of Mississippi; grandchildren Fritz Antonio Blandon, Margarita I. (Robert Schott) Blandon and Alexa Baldizon. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren Natalia and Lawrence Schott; sisters Brunilda I. Tom and Annette P. (Melvin) Robinson; brother Bayard (Aida) Tom; special nieces Miriam Tom and Matilde Halsall, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Fritz on October 14, 2019 and brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at a later date.
