Margaret "Peggy" A. Thibault

September 24, 1924 — July 25, 2020

Margaret A. “Peggy” Thibault (nee Raum) found eternal rest on July 25, 2020. She was born in St. Louis, MO on September 24, 1924, and raised there by her adoptive parents Frank and Lillian Raum. She was a resident of Three Pillars Senior Community in Dousman, WI. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 72 years, Donald G. Thibault. She is survived by her daughters Donna (John, Sr.) Livingston of Land O Lakes, WI, and Carolyn (Joseph) Caruso of Wales, WI. Peggy was an adored grandmother to John (Casey) Livingston, Jr., Suzanne (Shane) Livingston-Carroll, Kevin (Rebecca) Livingston, Kathleen (Sean) Livingston-Semler, Bryan (Amberly) Livingston, Daniel (Brighid) Caruso and Anthony (Cristin) Caruso. They, along with her 11 great-grandchildren, all affectionately called her Go-Go, a reference to her seemly being “on-the-go” all the time.

Peggy lived in St. Louis, MO until her husband retired, spending nearly a decade each in Palm Harbor, FL, and Hot Springs Village, AR before moving to Waukesha, WI and then on to Three Pillars. She and Donald spent nearly 35 summers at “Hummer Haven” their second home in Land O Lakes, WI.

Her easy going and warm approachable manner led to acquiring many faithful friends throughout her life. Peggy was fond of traveling, bowling, boating, golf, shopping, hosting family gatherings and having a martini before dinner.

She received outstanding care from a loving staff at both the Riverside Lodge and Compass Point facilities at the Three Pillars Senior Community. They treated her great tenderness as if she were one of their own family members, and that caring was comforting to her family. It was and always will be deeply appreciated.

A private funeral will be held at St. Anthony on the Lake Parish in Pewaukee, WI followed by a private interment at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Three Pillars Staff Appreciation Fund, 410 N. Main Street, Dousman, WI 53118, or one’s personal choice.
