Kathryn M. Schroeder

.Kathryn “Kay” M. Schroeder a longtime Waukesha resident died on Friday, June 28, 2019 at LindenGrove Health Care at the age of 94. She was born in Hillsboro, WI on August 24, 1924 the daughter of Henry and Ella (nee Watson) Rowley. On August 14, 1942 she married Lorrin “Jim” Schroeder; he preceded her in death June 28, 2002. Kay was a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. She was a very active member of the Waukesha Eagles Club Aerie 453 where she served as past-president. She had worked as a waitress at Goff’s Restaurant until it closed and then worked as a desk clerk at Holiday Inn.

She will be sadly missed by her son Jamey (Laura) Schroeder of Waukesha, daughter-in-law Pam Schroeder of Waukesha, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Una Havlik and Charlotte Braund of Madison, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Robert Schroeder, daughter Lorna (Larry) Anders and sisters Pat (Evan “John”) Dabson, Lavina Guthrie, and Bernice Rowley.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 8, 2019 at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S Grand Avenue Waukesha WI 53186 from 4:00 PM until the Eagles Auxillary service that will begin at 7:00 PM. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service that will begin at 11:00 AM. A procession will follow to Wisconsin Memorial Park for the entombment and cryptside services.
