Karen Y. Salentine

Karen Y. Salentine, 82. Born October 21, 1938, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Karen passed peacefully on July 8th, 2021, in Castle Rock, Colorado where her and husband Jerry had made their home in 1984.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and parents Enola and Erwin Williams. Survived by her sons John (Janis), Randy (Michelle) and Brett, grandsons J.D., Jacob and Thomas, her granddaughters Shelley and Jenny and her great grandchildren Taylor, Clay, Kaya, Aliyah and Xander.
Karen liked to share stories of growing up in Waukesha with her family. In the most recent years after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s she would spend a lot of time telling anyone who would listen to her stories of her family whom she loved so much. She enjoyed spending time at the Castle Rock Baptist Church and made many friends there. She had an extended work history but she really enjoyed the time she spent working as a housekeeper at the Castle Pines Golf Club until she retired.

Private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha, Wisconsin.
