John P. Menick

John Paul Menick of New Berlin passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. He was born in Waukesha on May 8, 1961 the son of Earl and Joanne (nee Jarvis) Menick. He attended St. Mary Catholic Church. He was in the class of 1975 at St. Mary’s School and graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1979. John was currently employed at Quad Graphics where he has worked for the past 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports and going to the casino with his mother where he loved playing the horses. John was an excellent golfer and was very proud of his hole in one.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Joanne Menick of Waukesha, his brother Daniel (Martha) Menick of Waukesha, sisters Patricia (Scott) Johnson of Waukesha and Barbara (Jim) Held of Menomonee Falls along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Earl.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in John’s name are appreciated to the American Heart Association, 1555 N. RiverCenter Drive Suite 211, Milwaukee, WI 53212.
