Joan E. Hilleshiem of Waukesha was born to eternal life on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the age of 60. She was born in Waukesha on August 4, 1961, the daughter of Bernard and Lois (nee Brunner) Hilleshiem. Joan loved music and greatly enjoyed playing the piano and composing music. She will be remembered for her strong faith.
She will be sadly missed by her son Benjamin (Emily) Hilleshiem, grandchildren Hayes and Evander, her siblings Lynda Hilleshiem, Lisa (Scott) Perlewitz, and David (Karen) Hilleshiem. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Mike Durant, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lorraine Hilleshiem Durant.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on August 13, 2022 at the Living Word Lutheran Church, 3140 Saylesville Road Waukesha, WI 53189
