Glenn Lee Frank

Glenn L. Frank, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 12, 1943 in West Bend, the son of William and Leona Frank. Glenn proudly served his country with the 176th Assault Helicopter Company “Minuteman” as the crew chief aboard a UH-1 Huey helicopter in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. He was awarded the Air Metal w/ V Device, 2 bronze stars, W/14 Gold leaf clusters. On May 2, 1970 he married his best friend and soul mate Susan Block. They enjoyed life by traveling the entire country together by RV-ing. They also shared many years of Harley riding, traveling with friends. Glenn’s life revolved around his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. He will be remembered as a man of great faith, his infectious smile, loyal friend to many and the most devoted husband and father, and incredible family man.

He is survived by his best friend of 52 years and wife, Susan Frank of Waukesha, daughters Kelley (John) Piasecki of Watertown and Erin (Ryan) Fandre of Loveland, CO, grandchildren Sam (Alysia) Piasecki, Haley (Fiancé Garrett Blaeske) Piasecki, Charlie Fandre, Eli Piasecki, Norah Fandre, and Piper Fandre. Great-granddaughter Mara Piasecki and two great-grandsons arriving in March. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings June Mayer, Vern Frank, and Eileen Yahr, and granddaughter Anna Piasecki in 2001.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Spring Creek Church, N35W22000 W Capitol Dr, Pewaukee, WI 53072. Visitation will be from 4:00 until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service. Burial with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Glenn’s name are appreciated to American Huey 369, 209 S.
