Gerda H. Lockman

Gerda Holtz Lockman of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 94. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on January 28, 1926 the daughter of Henry and Clara Holtz. Gerda enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, cross-stitch, playing cards and was a member of many bridge groups through the years. Her greatest love was her family and she devoted her life to being a mother and grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Nancy Lockman of Waukesha, her two grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Goodman, her sister-in-law Dorothy Holtz along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 1989, her daughter Carol Goodman, infant daughter Lisa and brother Guenther Holtz.

Honoring Gerda’s wishes, private burial will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
