Gerald "Jerry" T. Bennett

Gerald “Jerry” “Hub” T. Bennett of Waukesha passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 29, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 78. He was born in Waukesha on December 16, 1939 the son of James and Helen (nee Glitz) Bennett. On April 1, 1966 he married his beloved wife, Elaine (Wendt); she preceded him in death on December 16, 2008. Jerry worked for many years at Waukesha Foundry. He was a 1958 graduate of Waukesha High School.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Lori Anne Bennett of Waukesha, Lynn Heaney of West Allis and Robert Hutchinson of Waukesha, his grandchildren, Christina Hutchinson and Michael Heaney and great-grandchildren Teagan and Oakley Heaney. He is further survived by his brother Bruce (Cheryl) Bennett of Oregon, niece Victoria Tillitson and nephews, Jeff, Jason and Joe Bennett along with other relatives and friends.

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care, AngelsGrace Hospice and to ProHealth Home Care and Hospice for their incredible care and kindness provided to Jerry and his family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Private burial will be on Friday at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Memorials in Jerry’s name are appreciated to the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care, N16 W24131 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.
