Frank "Frankie" P. Balistreri Jr.

d. May 23, 2021

Our beloved Frank Balistreri Jr. “Frankie” passed away ever so peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the young age of 46 years.

Frankie was a wonderful father and is survived by his beautiful daughter, Alysia. She was in his words, “his greatest accomplishment.” There was never a moment he did not want to talk about how proud he was of “the kid”.

Frank leaves behind an extremely proud family including his beloved parents, Frank Sr. and Susan Balistreri; four treasured siblings Nicholas (Ericka), Ricardo (Sarah), Michelle (Ryan), and John (Caitlin); cherished grandma Liz; special nieces and nephews, Amani (aka Stitch Jones), Arelis, Kennedy, Chase, Kanaan and Khaleesi; loving aunts and uncles; Auntie Gail, Uncle Brots (Tammy), Uncle Mike Viljevac, Mary Jane (David) Hromek and Ann Marie (Jim) Rewolinski. Further survived by an army of cousins, close friends, and family pets.

Frank was a great family man and was always filled with joy and great jokes. He loved being with family and spending time with nieces and nephews. Frank was an avid shopper and was always on the hunt for “the deal of the day”, with his mom, grandma, and auntie Gail, who were his best friends. He loved to watch and bet on sports, gamble, travel, and make memories with his family. Frank was a bandwagon New England Patriots fan… lucky for him Tom Brady kept winning championships! Memories and family were always more important than any material items. He was the perfect example of “family first”. His legacy will live on through all survived by him, and his memory will never fade.

Frank was a dedicated, hard worker for 31 years. Everyone knew they could depend on him to “show up”. He never missed a day of work unless it was for a family reason, even if it meant he had to call you for a ride to get there. He was there. He was an honorable citizen and would do anything for anyone, even if he did not have the means. He was selfless, always put others first, was a great soul, and as pure as they come. He was the best and will be forever missed and always loved.

In lieu of funeral services, a memorial GoFundMe has been set up to fulfill Frank’s dream for providing an education for his daughter, Alysia. The site can be found at https://gofund.me/cb647abc
