Francis G. Olshefski

Francis G. Olshefski a lifelong Waukesha resident died on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 92. He was born in Waukesha on April 23, 1927 the son of Frank and Margaret (nee Stoeckel) Olshefski. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 721. On August 25, 1956 he married Gladys Jacobson; she preceded him in death on June 3, 2006. Francis worked for many years at Summit Builders. He enjoyed escaping to his cabin in Townsend, WI and loved being with his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Patricia (David) Whiteside of Eagle; son, David (Jodi) Olshefski of Eagle; daughter-in-law Teri Olshefski of Florida; his grandchildren, Eric (Lauren) Olshefski, Courtney (Brandon) Geppi, Kellen Olshefski, Kory (Carlee) Olshefski, Stephanie (Britan) Onstad and Sarra (Marcus Mealy) Rubringer; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Olive; and his sister Beverly Ann Olshefski of Milwaukee. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Gladys, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel Olshefski, grandson Timothy Olshefski and his siblings Margaret (Elroy) Zodrow, Raymond Olshefski and Sissy Olshefski.

Services will be private for the immediate family only. Entombment with full military honors will be at Prairie Home Cemetery. The family requests you toast Francis in your own special way. You may share memories or a photo with the family at www.randledable.com
