David R. Brueckner

David R. Brueckner of Waukesha passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home at the age of 67. He was born in Milwaukee on May 21, 1955 the son of Kenneth and Joyce (nee Benishek) Brueckner. He was a 1974 graduate of Mukwonago High School and on September 4, 1976 he married Wendy Peil. David worked for Cast Alloy/US Filter for many years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all loved to spend time with his family.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of almost 46 years, Wendy of Waukesha and their children, Aileen (Mark) Binkelman of Florida, Eric (Carissa) Brueckner of Waukesha, Brandon Brueckner of Waukesha, and Alyssa (Jim) Blake of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Alexis, Joshua, Brayden and Weston; his father Kenneth Brueckner of Texas; brother Kevin Brueckner of Texas; sister Lisa (Kelly) Doyle of Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce and brother Randy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Please meet at the cemetery office. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
