Charles H. Price of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 3, 1939 the son of Thomas and Emma (nee Carson) Price, Sr. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Charles graduated from Ball State University with an educational industrial arts degree. On June 24, 1967 he married his wife Jill (Lockwood) Price in Anderson, Indiana. Charles had a passion for learning, a fascination for trying new things and was a great storyteller. He enjoyed learning about his family history and was proud of his Welsh heritage. Along with his wife Jill, Charles found great joy in sponsoring Hmong families on their journey to America. He had many gifts and talents and greatly enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, woodworking and reading. Charles loved life and his family, cherished his grandchildren and will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jill of Waukesha, his loving children, Andrew (Brenda) Price of Madison and Jennie (Jeff) Matthews of Madison, his three cherished grandchildren, Ethan Price, Erin Price and Sean Matthews, his brother David (the late Marilyn) Price of Pendleton and his sister Terry (Marshall) Lawrence of Anderson, IN. He is further survived by Steven (Lauren) Xiong of Manitowoc who was like a son to Charles and Jill and his family, Pang, Lisa, Nicole, Megan, Logan and Jessica, his sister-in-law Patricia Price of LaPorte, IN along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Price, Jr. and his sister Ruth Price.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main St., Wales, WI 53183. Pastor Andrew Holmes will preside. Burial will follow at Ottawa Cemetery with a luncheon following back at church. Memorials in Charles’ name are appreciated to the College of the Ozarks, Development Office, P.O. Box 17, Point Lookout, MO 65726.
