William Pfeiffer

William G. Pfeiffer, of Nekoosa, formerly of Greenfield, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his daughter’s home in Waukesha at the age of 75. He was born on November 11, 1935, in Milwaukee, the only child of Matthew and Olive (nee Murphy) Pfeiffer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. For 36 years he had worked for Wisconsin Electric. He was a very active member of United Methodist Church of Nekoosa. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating, shooting pool and watching the Green Bay Packers. He will be sadly missed by his children Robert Scott (Laurie) Pfeiffer of the Town of Waukesha and Sherrie (Kenneth) Hurley of Waukesha. Dear grandfather of Amanda (Dan) Przybylski, Katie Pfeiffer, Kelly Pfeiffer, Derrick Hurley, Jason Hurley and Tiffany (Aaron) Goodson and great-grandfather of Dylynn Przybylski, MacKenzie Frost, Mitchel Frost, Makayla Goodson and Madelyn Goodson. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Jean (nee Sexton) Pfeiffer on July 4, 2007.
