William Brewster

December 3, 1952 — June 19, 2017

William Brewster, devoted father and grandfather, died unexpectedly at the age of 64 on June 19th 2017.

William (Bill) was born in Port Huron on December 3, 1952 and lived his teenage years in the Avoca area while attending Yale High School. He entered the Army when he was just 17 years old and was a proud patriot. Bill, an avid softball player, golfer, and lover of sports, was an umpire for the local softball leagues and tournaments for many years. In his job as a truck driver he excelled and loved the work that he could do to help people move their belongings from coast to coast. He enjoyed raising chickens, generously giving eggs to neighbors and friends. A fun loving man that enjoyed to laugh, especially with his grandchildren, will be missed by all that loved him.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Warren, and mother Arlene. He is survived by his two loving sisters Shirley (John) Scourtes and Fredet (Lou) Paulus as well as children William (Allyson) Brewster, Lila (Jason) Willis, and Donna (Russell) Wadhams. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: William, Joshua, Lila, Tyler, Bobbijo, Russell, Nicholas, and Kenneth, one great-grandchild Ayden, and his girlfriend Sue Ross.

A private memorial in memory of Bill will be held for close family and friends.
