Wayne M. Kulinski

June 14, 1947 — July 10, 2014

Wayne M. Kulinski, of Wind Lake, died on July 10, 2014 at his home surrounded by family at the age of 67. He was born on June 14, 1947 in Milwaukee the son of Arthur and Eleanor (nee Palinski) Kulinski. Wayne retired from Delphi in Milwaukee after 32 years of service. Wayne was a man full of life. He was always fixing something or puttering in the garage never a day went by that someone didn’t call and need his help for something. Even in the hospital he was asking for a screwdriver & a shim to fix his hospital room door because it wouldn’t close properly. He was a kind and compassionate man even to his wife Sue who could really try his patience. His girlfriends were many Molly, Relay, Bizzy, Jill, Lori, Patti, Becky, Karla & all of the girls at Muskego/Wind Lake Animal Hospital. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it to fix something. He loved to make mudslides for all of his agility girlfriends when their accomplishments needed to be recognized or when the Cream City crew was celebrating the beginning or the end of a session. He enjoyed the many nights of dinner and then playing a rousing game of Pictionary guys against the girls with Lisa & Daryl Borchardt and Lori & Bob Stewart. His quick wit and sense of humor made for some interesting conversations between his wife Sue and him, anyone that heard the two of them might think they really didn’t like each other but their love for each other was immense. His family was so important to him, helping his sons Bruce and Jason by phone for hours, teaching them how to fix and putter also. The day Jason graduated from Marine Boot Camp made him so proud. He loved helping his father-in-law Ed Klenz at his cottage in Eagle River too. A man of few words but many talents. He will be missed. God speed Wayne.

Sue would like to thank the many friends and family for their support during this last month. Everyone no matter how small of a part you played in helping both of them through some very dark days was greatly appreciated. Sue will never forget how loved and blessed their life has been because of all of you. She asks that you pay it forward every day by doing something for someone else in hopes that we can change our world with kindness and compassion instead of anger and frustration.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Sue (Klenz) Kulinski, his children, Bruce (fiancée Melissa) Kulinski, Brent (Mary) Kulinski and Jason Kulinski (Special Friend Jamie), his grandchildren, Samantha (Mike) Halversen, Jace (Brittany), Sam, Drew and John and 3 great-grandchildren Andrew, Aniyah, & Alyx. He is further survived by his sisters Chris (Mike) Zanzig and Helene (Ray) Yager, father-in-law Ed Klenz, brother-in-laws Rudy Treml, Mike Klenz, Jim Thoma & Mick Jaeger, sister-in-laws Rita Kulinski, Debbie (Klenz) Thoma, Sue (Levenhagen) Klenz & Peggy (Klenz) Jaeger, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Eleanor, his sister Kathy Treml and brother Bob.
