Vincent J. Service, age 89, of Waukesha, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 10, 1918 in Delafield to William and Agnes (nee: Kenny) Service. On April 14, 1945 he married the former Mabel Thomas in Delafield. With Mabel by his side, he ran the family farm in Delafield, until he began working as a shipping and receiving clerk at Waukesha Engine from 1953 until his retirement in 1970. He has been a member of the Jehovah's Witness since 1956. He will be missed by his wife Mabel of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Geraldine Sindorf, Evelyn Edwards and Harriet Downing. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24th from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, W230 S3250 Milky Way Road in Waukesha.
