Sydni Ray Brown was born on May 10, 2015. In her 90 precious minutes of life, she spent them in the arms of her loving parents and other beloved family members. In those minutes, Sydni inspired a lifetime of strength, courage, and love. Sydni is our "Ray" of light, our "Ray" of sunshine. As she received her wings way too early, we find comfort in knowing she was welcomed into eternal life by our savior Jesus Christ.
Sydni Ray is survived by her parents Erich and Trishya (nee Krieg) Brown of Mukwonago, her loving big sisters Baiya and Ariel, grandparents Joe and Deb Krieg of Superior, Robert and Carmen Brown of Gillett, aunts and uncles Tanya Krieg and Family of Lake Nebagamon, Jake Krieg and Courtney Lane of Columbia, SC, Bridgid Brown and Matt Ricci of West Allis, Rob and Becky Lonergan of Brown Deer, great-grandparents Joyce Brown of Gillett, Ruth Wendt of Menasha, John and Janice Krieg of Mosinee, Bob and Liz Nelson of Spooner, and several other great aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Sydni Ray is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Merle Wendt, William Brown, and Lee Nelson.

The family will be scheduling a memorial balloon release in honor of Sydni Ray this summer. Information will be forthcoming from the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contribution be made to the Anencephaly Research Fund at Duke University. Donations can be made online at www.giftrecords.duke.edu . Click on "Make a Gift Now" and then "Make a Credit Card Gift." Under Designations click on the field called "Add an unlisted designation." Donors must write-in 391-2359. There is also a place toward the bottom where donors can dedicate the gift.
