Steven Donald Tauke

Steven D. Tauke, 63, of the Town of Genesee died at his home on Friday, May 25, 2018 of natural causes. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa on January 17, 1955 the son of Donald and Frances (nee: Feltes) Tauke. He was a 1973 graduate of Wahlert High School in Dubuque, Iowa, and went on to receive his Bachelor Degree from the University of Iowa in 1977. While in college he enjoyed the many activities of his fraternity Delta Upsilon. Steven was the vice president of risk insurance with M&I Bank for many years. He used his professional talents as a member of the risk assessment committee for the Boy Scouts of America. He liked to golf, was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed his Corvette and his model car collection, and most of all loved his family and many friends.
He will be missed by his children Trent Tauke of Waukesha and Rachel Tauke of Waukesha, sister Faye (Robert) Hoffman of Dubuque, Iowa, brothers Dale Tauke (Mary Stull, spouse) of Lake Forest, Illinois, and Robert (Julie) Tauke of Dubuque, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son Christopher Steven.
Visitation will be held at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A funeral service and interment to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Steven’s name are appreciated to the Milwaukee Boy Scouts of America council #629, 330 S. 84th St. Milwaukee, WI 53214.
