Shelby Stricker

January 20, 1938 — April 18, 2008

Shelby J. Stricker, age 70, formerly of Waukesha and Beaver Dam, died Friday, April 18, 2008 with her loving family gathered around her at Continental Manor in Randolph. The former Shelby J. Kline was born on January 20, 1938 in Pewaukee, the daughter of Donald and Vida (Bellows) Kline. On October 20, 1984, she was united in marriage to Clarence Stricker; he preceded her in death in 2006. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around her. She also enjoyed doing crafts of many kinds. Shelby will be sadly missed by her children: Jeffrey (Sherry) Reifsnider of Beaver Dam, Patricia (special friend Chris Alderson) Reifsnider of New Glarus, Barbara (August) Moen of Monticello, and Michael (Kelly) Reifsnider of Oak Grove; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (George) Hook of Beaver Dam; brother-in-law, Bob (Arlene) Stricker of Waukesha; and all the many friends she made with residents and staff at Continental Manor. She is also preceded in death by parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 noon funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Pastor Jeff Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, directed to her daughter Patricia.
