Ruth A. Amore

Ruth A. Amore, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at ManorCare in Pewaukee at the age of 82 years. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 10, 1931the daughter of Kai and Ellen (nee Agnethe) Seyler. Ruth loved playing musical instruments and enjoyed going to and volunteering at the opera. She was an avid dog lover and also had a love for rabbits. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed sewing and especially loved the water and sun and being by the ocean. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters who were her world. She will always be remembered for her fiery spirit and her love for her family.

She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Annette Smith of Highwood, IL, Susan Amore of Brookfield and Denise Amore of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Alan Angell, Cory Smith and Sam Amore. She is further survived by her brothers Peter Seyler of British Columbia, Canada and Ole Seyler of Farum, Denmark, her four-legged companion Tosh, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 11:00AM until the time of the 1:00PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha.
