Roger "Rog" L. Huebner

Roger “Rog” L. Huebner, of Waukesha, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Appleton on April 8, 1947 the son of Gerald and Evelyn (nee Jentz) Huebner. Roger received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. On October 19, 1968 he married Linda Grimme in Menomonee, WI. Roger worked for the New Berlin Public Schools as the audio visual coordinator for many years. Roger was the former coach of the Girls Varsity Softball Team at New Berlin West and the Trinity Lutheran Boys Basketball Team. He was a longtime member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Roger lived for each day and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Linda of Waukesha and their children, Lana (Richard Reinke) Huebner of Waukesha, Jodi (Mark) Sievert of Muskego and Brett (Jess) Huebner of Knoxville, TN. He was the dear grandfather of Savannah and Cooper Sievert and Hudson Huebner. He is further survived by his brothers, Larry (Judi) Huebner, Wayne (Joyce) Huebner and Kenneth (Carla) Huebner along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 3:00 until 6:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186 from 11:30AM until the time of the 12:30PM funeral service. Pastor Lawrence Gates and Pastor Glen Schaumberg will preside. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. Please meet in the green parking area.
