Robert Wodke

Robert J. “Bob” Wodke, of Waukesha, formerly of Lake Mills, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 94.  He was born on August 22, 1914 in Lake Mills, the son of Ben and Edith (Whipp) Wodke.  Bob served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.  He worked in research at the University Hospital in Madison for many years before retiring.  He was a member of the VFW, and enjoyed participating in many Memorial Day parades over the years.    Bob will be sadly missed by his daughter, Barbara Wodke of Waukesha; his son, Robert (Melinda) Wodke of Waukesha; and granddaughter, Shannon Young.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace in 1958.   Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills.
