Robert R. Traupmann

Robert R. Traupmann, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 97. He was born in Milwaukee on September 17, 1918 the son of Raymond and Minnie (nee Brown) Traupmann. He received his mechanical engineering degree from Marquette University and designed machinery for many years. He was a member of the James M. Hays Lodge #331 Free & Accepted Masons, the Kilbourn Lodge #9 Royal & Select Masons, Order of the Eastern Star Wauwatosa Chapter #219 and LaBelle Chapter #40 as well as a member of Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife Mary J. Traupmann (nee Holmes) Traupmann of Waukesha, his children, Kenneth (Suzanne Fitch) Traupmann of San Diego, CA, Greg (Jackie) Traupmann of Perth, Australia, Charles (Marilynn) Traupmann of San Pedro, CA and Lynne Traupmann of Milwaukee along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his dear friends Alice and Mark Szymik and their children Isaac, Maya and Abigayle of Park Falls along with other relatives and friends.

Private burial will be held at a later date at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family to be distributed to various charities.
