Robert Sugden

Town of Summit-Robert "Bob" D. Sugden, 66, of the Town of Summit, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. He was born in Neenah, WI on January 18, 1941 to David and Dorothy (nee: Campbell) Sugden. Mr. Sugden was a member of Galilee Lutheran Church for 35 years; a longtime member of the Waukesha Noon Lions, serving as the club president in 1983. He was a Birch-Sturm recipient and Melvin Jones Fellow. Bob was a charter member of the Lapham Peak Friends and avid cross country skier, competing in 25 Birkie's. He was passionate about all forms of bicycling and was employed at WCTC for 32 years. Bob will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, educator and athlete. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years; Sandra; their two children, Christine (Jeff) Ross of Genesee Depot; David (Wendy) Sugden of Waukesha and three special grandchildren: Chelsey, Trevor and Katie. He is further survived by his father, David Sugden of Neenah; two brothers, Thomas Sugden of Menomonee Falls; Dennis Sugden of North Dakota and a sister, Susan (Jim) Larson of Appleton other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Visitation and services will continue on Monday, March 26, 2007 at Galilee Lutheran Church, N24 W26430 Crestview Dr. Pewaukee with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. Memorial Service.
