Rita M. Machata

June 3, 1945 — August 27, 2013

Rita M. Machata, of Pewaukee, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at St. Luke’s Medical Center at the age of 68 years. She was born in West Allis, WI on June 3, 1945 the daughter of Frank and Genevieve (nee Washburn) Zartler. Rita enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, going up north to their cabin and she loved animals. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Dick of Pewaukee and their sons, Daniel Machata of Sioux Falls, SD and Jason (Claire) Machata of Greenfield. She was the dear grandmother of Brooke, Alexandra and Elise Machata. She is further survived by her brother Buzz (Clarice) Zartler of New Berlin, her sister Barb Marlega of Milwaukee, her niece Josette and nephew Jimmy along with her other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 4:00PM until the time of the 6:00PM memorial service at Waukesha First Assembly of God, 1314 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Pastor Todd Pope will preside. Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services is honored to serve the family.
