Rhonda Katzke

Rhonda E. Katzke, of Waukesha, received her angel's wings on Monday, April 21, 2008 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 43. She was born on March 9, 1965 in Milwaukee to Marvin and Bernadette (nee: Kaczor) Calba. She was a 1983 graduate of James Madison High School in Milwaukee. Rhonda received her Associate Degree at Waukesha County Technical College as an Administrative Assistant. She had worked for Milwaukee Medical, American Lung Association and WCTC Dental Hygiene Clinic all as an Administrative Assistant. On October 24, 1992 she married Andrew Katzke at St. Peter Emanuel in Milwaukee. She has been a member of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church since 2003, where she was involved in Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Altar Guild. She was a wonderful baker and won many blue ribbons at the state fair. She volunteered at Prairie Elementary School, where her son Matthew attends 6th grade. Rhonda was very involved in the Riverwalk for Breast Cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband Andrew, along with their son Matthew both of Waukesha, parents Marvin and Bernadette Kaczor of Milwaukee and sister Renee (Lee) Newman of Sussex. She is further survived by her mother-in-law Rose (nee: Jankowski) Katzke of Milwaukee, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Louis Katzke. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2016 Center Road, Waukesha, with the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
