Ralph Powers

Of Waukesha, died on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa at the age of 54. He was born on April 6, 1953 in Odessa, Texas the son of Dan and Vivian (nee Sheffield) Powers. He was a veteran of the US Navy and of the Vietnam War. He also served in the USS Saratoga and USS Kiska. During his youth he was active in youth and school sports, and the Boy Scouts of America. He was a former resident of Richardson, Texas where he was a member of Height Baptist Church. He will be sadly missed by his children: Jim Powers, Ralph Milan Powers, Jr., and Mary Marie Powers all of Waukesha, their mother Bonnie of Waukesha, and his granddaughter Alicia Earhardt of Waukesha. He is further survived by his parents, Vivian and Dan Powers, sisters Jeanne Davis, and Susan Powers, and Aunt Norma Sims all of Richardson, Texas, along with other relatives and friends. A service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the State Veterans Cemetery in Grand Prize, Texas. If desired, memorials may be made to your local organ donation network.
