Pastor Fred T. Sindorf

June 13, 1929 — March 7, 2017

Pastor Fred T. Sindorf of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born in Milwaukee on June 13, 1929 the son of Raymon and Adele (nee Harnick) Sindorf. Pastor Fred was the devoted pastor of Risen Savior and Maranatha Fellowship in Milwaukee for many years and pastor of Living Faith in Viroqua. His greatest passion in life was his Lord and Savior followed by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred was influential in the lives of many and was as a man of great compassion and mercy. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of almost 65 years, Nancy of Waukesha and their children, Jim (Darlene) Sindorf, Fred (Wanda) Sindorf, Tim (Arlinda) Sindorf, Toni Dettmann and dear family friend John (Jessie) Riccardi who was like a son to Fred and Nancy. He was the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Thomas (Janet) Sindorf along with nieces, nephews, his church family, other relatives, and many dear friends. Preceded in death by his granddaughter Sondra.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the 5:00 p.m. memorial service at Bridge Church, 1314 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Todd Pope will preside. A dessert reception and continued fellowship will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Fred’s name are appreciated to Bridge Church.
