Myrtle L. Hubman

Myrtle “Myrt” L. Hubman, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 84.  She was born in Waukesha on November 14, 1923 the daughter of Charles and Ida Mae (nee Sleep) Patey.  Myrt was a 1941 graduate of Waukesha High School, and graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in education.  She taught for many years in Waukesha, Wauwatosa, and Lake Geneva.  She was member of 4H in Waukesha and a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. Myrt will be sadly missed by her children: Ann (Tim) McLain of Waukesha and Michael Hubman of Waukesha, grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Adam Congdon, Charlie Congdon, and Taylor Congdon all of Waukesha, Sarah McLain of Mt. Zion, IL, and Tyler McLain of Decatur, IL, her sister Verna North of Burlington, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn in 1974, her brother Ted Patey, sister Margaret Kerstein, sister-in-law Patricia Patey, and brothers-in-law Leo Kerstein and George North. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 10:00AM until the 1:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
