Muriel L. Miller

Muriel L. Miller, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her home at the age of 98. She was born in Ripon, WI on February 10, 1917 the only child of Robert and Linda (nee Zick) Lehman. On May 17, 1940 she married Keith Miller; he preceded her in death on November 13, 1997. Muriel was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Waukesha, and taught for many years at the Montessori School. She enjoyed traveling, being in nature, birdwatching, sewing, painting and was an incredible cook. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She brought a lot of smiles and laughter to those around her and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Wayne (Ernestine) Miller of New Berlin and Marilyn (Trond) Alhou of West Bend, her grandchildren, Travis Miller, Sam Miller, Stacy Blad and Susan (Dave) Fleming and her great-grandchildren Ali, Ashley and Robert.

Private family services will be held.
