Mildred Schaub

WAUKESHA—Mildred A. Schaub, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Brookfield Gardens at the age of 93.  She was born on August 27, 1915 in Milwaukee to Herbert and Augusta (nee:  Schultz) Koplien.  She was a 1934 graduate of Washington High School and then attended Secretary School for the next 2 years.  On August 14, 1937 she married Herbert Schaub in Iowa.  Mildred has been a lifelong member of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Ladies Aide. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Ruth Birkholz of Waukesha, grandchildren:  Robert Birkholz of Tennessee, Deborah Durso of  Tennessee, Lori Birkholz (David) Beddingfield of New Mexico, Patricia (Greg Jarvis) Birkholz of Tennessee, Annette (Domonic) Desercy of Florida and Jennette Schaub of Florida.  She is further survived by her great grandchildren:  Timothy, Stacy, Jeffry, Phoebe and Gabriel, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert in 1988, son Frederick in 2007 and brother Herbert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 11:00 AM   until the 12:00 PM Funeral Service at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, 2028 N. 60th St. in Milwaukee.  The Rev.
