Michael Morris

of Fox Lake, WI died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at his winter home in Marco Island, Florida at the age of 61.  He was born in Waukesha on August 27, 1947 the son on Melvin and Ruth (nee:  Davis) Morris.  He was a 1965 graduate of Waukesha South High School.  He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in the summer of 1965 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam.  He attended U.W. Waukesha for two years and then Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing, where he earned first his RN degree and then a Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree.  He worked mainly at Hartford Memorial Hospital and Waupun Memorial Hospital.  In the early 1980?s Mike purchased the American Legion from Tony and Bert and was part owner of Grimby?s.  In the mid 1980?s he moved to Fox Lake where he resided until his death.  Mike enjoyed fishing, duck and goose hunting, traveling, golfing, real estate renovation and speculation and spending time with friends and family.  He was a ?people person?.  He had friends from all walks of life and all parts of the country.  His generosity and sense of humor will be missed by many.  Mike is survived by his daughter Hannah Susan (Chris) and grandson Calvin Michael Timmel both of Fort Atkinson, dear friend and former wife Sally Morris of Waukesha, mother Ruth Morris, brothers Rick (Roxanne) and John and sister Martha (Brian) Paul, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father Melvin and sister Patricia.  Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4 from 4:00 pm until the 7:00 pm Memorial Service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
