Michael Lawrence

Waukesha-Michael C. Lawrence age 78 died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Michael was born in Waukesha on April 28, 1928. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked at Wisconsin Natural Gas, retiring after 37 years. Michael enjoyed fishing, bingo and taking drives up north. In his younger days, he played both local and professional baseball. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley (nee Koestler); his children: Ron (Sue) Lawrence of Waukesha and Roxanne (Curtis) Christiansen of Dousman; his grandchildren: Brian Lawrence, Michelle Lawrence, Curt (Amanda) Christiansen, Justin Christiansen and Brenda Lawrence; great-grandchildren: Jeremy Dornak, Samantha Lawrence, Patrick Lawrence; his half-sister Elaine Beaudoin of Mukwonago and brother-in-law Richard (Kay) Koestler of Waukesha. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Myrtle and his son Robert. Visitation for Mr. Lawrence will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 3:00 PM until the 6:00 PM Funeral Service at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, followed by military honors.
