Mercedes Perez-Cardona

Mercedes Perez-Cardona, of Waukesha, formerly of Puerto Rico, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 86. She was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico on February 14, 1929 the second of six children born to Juan Perez and Maria Cardona. Mercedes cherished her family and loved helping people.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Cesar Soto Ruiz of Waukesha and their daughters Migdalia (Luciano) Dominguez of Waukesha and Hilda Soto Perez of Puerto Rico. She was the dear grandmother of Tania Martinez, Bethany Martinez, Migdalia Martinez, Jonathan Dominguez and Nathaniel Dominguez and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2:00PM until the time of the 4:00PM funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha. Father Bill Key will preside. Burial will be held in Puerto Rico.
