Mary R. Ketchum

Mary R. Ketchum, age 67, passed away peacefully Friday, May 2 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 10, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Rosanna (nee Bumba) Streicher. Mary was a graduate of Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL. On March 20, 1971 she was united in marriage to Tom Ketchum. The marriage was later dissolved. For many years Mary was employed by Dr. Chester Sattler.

Surviving are her son James (Amy) and granddaughters Megan and Kaelyn of Racine; three brothers, Thomas Streicher of Gurnee, Nick (Kathy) Streicher of Silver Lake, WI and Michael (Kathy) Streicher of Gurnee; sister Peggy Flory of Fox Lake, IL, nieces, nephews, former husband Tom Ketchum, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her four brothers John, Richard, Edward and William Streicher and her sister Martha Koblenski.

Private graveside services will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL at a later date. Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral, Crematory and Preplanning services is honored to serve the family.
