Mary Griswold

Mary “Alice” Griswold, of Waukesha, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Avalon Square at the age of 94. She was born on September 7, 1915 in Pewaukee to Charles and Mary (nee: Semler) O’Connor. Alice was a 1933 graduate of Pewaukee High School. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Alice is survived by her daughter Katherine (James) Schwenn and daughter-in-law Christine Griswold. Dear grandmother of James M. Schwenn, Richard (Dawn) Schwenn, Kim (Dale) Schneider, Julie (Jaison) Tilander, Sean Griswold, Stephen Lynch and Benjamin (Brittany) Lynch. She is further survived by step brothers Alvin Rohde and Julius Rohde, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband George B. Griswold on January 8, 2007 and sons Charles G. Griswold and Gregory Griswold. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26 from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, July 27 at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Duplainville at 10 AM. Memorials may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W.
