Martin Cavey

April 16, 1923 — May 13, 2007

Lifelong resident of Waukesha Martin "Moke" Cavey passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with his family and friends by his side at the age of 84. Moke was born in Waukesha on April 16, 1923 the son of John Hart and Rhoda (nee: Eales) Cavey. Moke owned K-V Supply and sold nuts and bolts for many years. Prior to K-V Supply he owned the Squirt and Fox Head Distributor. Moke enjoyed spending time at the Merrill Hills Country Club. He was a frequent patron of Fracaro's Lanes and enjoyed talking with the ladies. Moke was a genuine, funny guy who was known for his infamous jokes and one-liners. He was a great friend to many and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Moke will be sadly missed by his brother John of Missouri, nieces Mary (Steve) Hutchens of Racine, and Susan Schindler of Texas, great-nieces Martha and Laura. He is also survived by his dear friends Jack and Lynne Hase of Waukesha, James and Peggy Ribbens of Waukesha along with other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Daniel McGeen D.D.S. and his sister Olive Compton. Visitation will be held at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, Thursday May 17, 2007 from 4:00PM until the time of the Funeral service at 7:00PM. Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 10:00AM at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office at 9:45AM. Memorials are appreciated.
