Marlene Sussek

Marlene J. Sussek, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at AngelsGrace Hospice with her family by her side at the age of 76.  She was born on September 24, 1932 in Waukesha, the daughter of Arnold and Sylvia (Lentz) Rogers.  Marlene was united in marriage to Paul Sussek on April 4, 1953 in Iowa.  She was a longtime member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha.  Marlene enjoyed gardening, bowling, and ceramics, but especially loved caring for her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.  Marlene will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Paul of Waukesha; her children:  Dennis Sussek of Waukesha and Debbie (Ray) Kuechler of Genesee; grandchildren:  Kyle, Killian, Trenda, Tara (Chris) Tristine, and Tayler; 7 great-grandchildren including Christian and Cayden who were especially close to her heart; siblings:  Joyce Menick of Waukesha, Kenny Rogers of Dousman, Judy Rogers of Waukesha; other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Dean, sister Gloria Haach; twin brother Arnie Rogers, and sister Sharon Stebbins; brother-in-law Bob Menick and sister-in-law Barb Rogers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
