Marion M. Fridie, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with her daughter and granddaughter at her side at the age of 83. She was born in Waukesha on July 29, 1927 the daughter of Benjamin, Sr. and Mary Jane (nee Barndt) Wallert. On December 8, 1956 she married Jack Fridie; he preceded her in death on August 11, 1993. Marion was an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church where she served as a greeter, secretary and Eucharistic minister. She had a great love for animals, especially her collie Max. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Cheryl (Robert) Winter of Waukesha and Mary (the late Mark) Carlson of Waukesha, her four grandchildren: Tracie Winter, Robert (Liz) Winter, Troy (Cyndee) Carlson and Cory Carlson, and four great-grandchildren: Andrew Winter, Breanna Carlson, Julia Winter and Adam Winter. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and numerous grand-puppies. In addition to her husband Jack she was preceded in death by her brother Benjamin Wallert, Jr., her sister Betty Jane Klemp, and her parents.  Private family services will be held with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to HAWS, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188. For further information, please call Randle-Dable Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services at 262-547-4035 or go to www.waukeshafunerals.com to leave the family an online tribute message.
